Yamaha Fazer FZ-1 & Suzuki Bandit 1250SA: Opinions on which is the better bike?

Without a doubt Nor Hesitation...Yamaha FZ-1!. I had one August 2003 to Feb.7, 2009 of this year until someone T-Boned me while i was Lane-Splitting (completely Legal %26amp; I wasn't at fault). Never had any Major issues with my FZ-1: Owned it for 6 long years, ridden it to / from work EVERYDAY, It travelled 6 States+ Vancouver BC Canada, it never failed me nor left me stranded on any Freeway, Gets 38 MPG on an average day freeway commuting, It starts right up EVERYTIME, Used only regular motorcycle oil, + I put 78,000 miles on it! (That's like putting 400,00 miles on a car!) The Only Complaint i have on Yamaha Motorcycles as a former owner is: The Brand is very Underrated %26amp; it never really gets the credits %26amp; respect it deserves (That is prior to The R-1) , it's too reliable! (it never breaks; it's like buying a refrigerator...Plug it %26amp; forget about it). Hope This helps yah!|||depends what you need... i am trying to decide too. the bandit is better for everyday city driving and is still fast with a lot more torque; the FZ1 is slower off the line but screams like a demon over 8k and will then destroy the bandit in top speed. FZ=not as drivable as bandit for everyday
