Suzuki GSF600 Bandit starting problem?

Hi Guys

I've got a bit of a problem with my bandit, it wont turn over. I can bump it no worries but it just will not start off the key.

The starter turns but from my limited experience it doesn't seem to be working the starter clutch (bike doesn't even lurch when I try in gear).

I thought it might be the starter motor so i changed that, then the battery today (brand new battery which i fast charged for an hour) but that hasn't worked either.

I've taken the side casing off and everything looks ok but my exprience is limited in bike mechanics.

Do you guys think it may be my battery undercharged (didn't want to kill my new battery so just fast charged at 4amps for 1 hour after putting the acid in) or is it something more sinister?

Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer|||If you can hear the starter motor turning, then the starter clutch is bad. It happens to all bikes. Your bike is no exception.

-Remove the cover the starter motor goes into.

-Remove the bolt that holds the starter clutch (the big gear).

-The rollers on the starter clutch could be worn

-The springs pushing out the rollers could be weak

-When you change the starter clutch, check the surface of the gear that clutch rides on. If there are any wear marks or indents, change the gear also.|||try another solenoid or check your starter.|||your battery has a dry charge when you buy it ,after putting the acid in it should be charged after standing for an hour or so,normally when your battery is under charges you would normally just hear a click from the solenoid, make sure that is ok you can short a screwdriver accross this ,be carefull as the starter motor will spin without pressing the starter button.

question when your starter motor turns over does it make any nasty mechanical noises ,does it appear to turn over very slow or does it spin very fast like there is no load on it.|||Must be the solenoid, as you have tried another starter motor.
