My bandit was making a noise from near front sprocket last time out any ideas?

the bike has only done 11000 miles|||Could be a worn sprocket, but a lot of the time you can hear noise when the chain is to tight-then you hear bearing noise on top of the chain noise.Check the chain for tightness and the sprocket for signs of wear.|||How many times in those 11,000 miles did you lube the drive-chain, once or twice?

A chain should be lubed about every 200-300 miles depending on conditions. An un-lubed chain will wear out the sprockets quicker and rust easier making the chain rollers stick to the links.(if you knew that, sorry but there's a lot of riders that don't).

Another place to check is the swing-arm cushion for wear, could be it's worn through and the chain is hitting the swing-arm near it's axis.|||Pretty much what the others have said, check adjustment and wear. Do you lubricate regularly? It may have done only 11000 miles, but if it just sits in the shed for six months, your just asking for trouble if the chain is ignored.

Any wear in chain or sprockets and I would change as a set. 拢100 or less if you do it yourself.|||Maybe the chain is a little loose (common with brand new chains, they always stretch a bit when new) and it's either jumping over the front sprocket or maybe rattling over the frame.|||Is chain correctly adjusted? Remove covers and check front sprocket is tight on thread, they have been known to come loose.
