2005 Suzuki Bandit 650s?

A guy is selling a 2005 Suzuki Bandit 650s, its never been layed down or wrecked and has 3,000 miles. He is asking 1,800. Is that a reasonable price. Is this a good beginners bike? Since I am just a beginner I don't know that much about buying one and knowing what to look for when checking one out. Could anyone possibly give me some tips and things to look for when purchasing a used bike. Thanks in advance!|||that's a good price 3,000 mile its done nowt must be like new, is it stolen ?

good beginner bike not a bit like the old bandit my son bought 2007 model loves it to bits he started with the old 600 bandit then fazer 600 now the 650 bandit just not sure about the abs yet,

as for riding position it is very comfortable you are sat up not lent over nice wide bars com-paired to 600 fazer,

only thing i would recommend if doing motor way,s is get double bubble screen fitted it makes a big difference|||What I don't like about the Bandit is how long its stretched out, where you have to lean forward to reach the handlebars.

Maybe ur body style is more suited than mine, but would suggest either the Yamaha FZ6, or the Suzuki SV650 instead.
