My bike wont idle bandit 400?

i have a gsf 400 bandit from 91 and i cannot get it to idle, i pulled off the carbs and i cleans out the jets, but i cant get it to idle i can sometimes get it to start without carb cleaner but it revs to 4k then dies in about 5 secs any ideas tips i tryed doing the vacume test behind the carbs but since it wont idle i cant really test it. thanks

Richard|||You need to set all the air fuel screws to the factory spec after you pull them apart, then they need to be synced. Make sure all the rubber boots are clamped down tight. If you have an air leak in one of them it will affect the others. Make sure the throttle cable is adjusted right, at the carb, and the handlebar side. If its revving to 4k, and dying, you may need to check the float level as well. If you set it wrong, it may be starving for gas and only burning the initial fuel in the bowls, and running out.|||Clean air-filters?

Drain the carbs, check float level and/or main jet blockage.
