Bike still isnt right bandit 600?

hi my bandit 600 that has been stood for 3 months is not playing ball. ive cleaned carbs, replaced fuel and charged battery.

It finally managed to start today in my garage but there quite a bit of smoke wwhen it starts to get hotter and the revs stick. The throttle snaps back fine but the revs increase by there self, and when revved the revs wont come back down.

ive cleaned the plugs but they were black and sooty, not wet. not sure what going on.

also after about 10 minutes running she normally just cuts out as the revs drop and it hesitates really bad, wont rev over about 2000rpm.

thanks for helping out|||you didnt clean the carbs right or you put them back together wrong.

to clean them use compressed air %26amp; carb cleaner, let them soak for a few minutes in carb cleaner than blow thru all the wholes with compressed air.|||Black %26amp; sooty plugs indicate a rich mixture. So, sounds like a fuelling problem.

First - %26amp; easiest - check, try running it without the air filter. If it runs better, you need a new filter or to clean the old one.

I would also check to see if any cables/linkages are stuck at the carb end, especially the choke. A good spray with WD40 can work wonders. Never overlook the obvious - a trapped cable under a part that's been moved, like the tank, can cause hassle.

Then its time to check the carbs...

Hope this helps|||Maby you should take it to a mechanic and let them replace those black and sooty plugs|||sounds like the air filter needs cleaning
