How to find out if you motorcycle has been restricted?

I got a bandit GSF 600 03 reg with only 4000 miles and if feels much slower than the hornet 600 I had.


Maybe the previous owner had it restricted for a young rider? He was about 50 years old but maybe he has a son or some one else. Or maybe I just need to get to know the bike better.|||the honda was a much better engine design, the suzuki looks like an engine from the 70's
