Can i ride this bike after doing my full bike test if i get a restrictor put on it?

my dream bike is the suzuki gsf 650cc sa bandit. i want to know can it be restricted? i want to be able to ride it after getting my bike license, im wondering because of the stupid laws that say i have to ride for 2 years after first passing my test, im 18 , the laws says it got to be restricted to 33 bhp,|||Yes, it can be restricted down to 33bhp. Suzuki dealers offer a kit specifically for that model.|||Hello

I presume you are taking the A1 Driving Test.

You then have 2 options.

1/ Stay on the 125 as a Full licence holder and 2 years from the date you passed your A1 driving test you will automatically get the Full A licence.

Or

2/ Go for your A2 as a Provisional licence holder in which case you have to limit the bike to max of 33 BHP. And yes you can you can limit any bike to 33 BHP but some are easier than others. The advantage of this is that you can take your A2 Driving Test when you want. The 2 years they are talking about is because without taking a Driving Test you will still get the Full licence after 2 years from the date you passed your A1 Driving Test.

Andy C|||The laws are not stupid they are there for a reason but its a damn shame they can not protect decent people from fools.

Your 18 what the hell to you know, you are under the bracket of most likely to be in or cause an accident so what does that tell you. Further more it tells you boys are more likely to be in an accident or pick up there first criminal offence than anyone else. We got enough bell ends thank you on the road and I as a full licence bike rider rather them be restricted all their lives!!!

Check with manufacture but I think at the top of my head, nothing more than 600cc can be restricted unless specified.

Bikers don't need cock sure know it all's, it ruins our image.|||No, it's the spec as first registered that counts. What you do later is irrelevant
